Golden Hour Senior Session in Hatcher Pass, Alaska

There’s something magical about Hatcher Pass at golden hour. The way the light spills across the mountains, catching every curve of the landscape.. it’s the kind of glow that makes every photo feel timeless. This senior session was the perfect example of how we can catch some really gorgeous images in even a short mini session!

We met up just as the sun began to dip behind the peaks, painting the tundra in rich golds and pinks. The wind was soft, the air crisp , that perfect late summer evening that feels like it was made for portraits. My senior client showed up looking stunning! She chose this gorgeous dress that allowed her to stand out from the folliage but relfected the blue of the mountains.

Golden hour in Hatcher Pass is unpredictable — sometimes the light hides behind the clouds, and sometimes it absolutely glows. This night, it glowed.
